Within about half an hour\u2019s drive from our holiday homes, there are already two beautiful golf courses where we ourselves love to play.<\/p>\n
Lauro Golf<\/a> is located between Alhaur\u00edn el Grande and Alhaur\u00edn de la Torre, at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas. This golf course has a natural and rural atmosphere. Old, gnarled olive trees line the fairways, and from several holes you have views of M\u00e1laga and the Mediterranean Sea. <\/p>\n The golf course has 27 holes, making it easy to spend an entire day golfing here. The last nine holes are located more on the hillsides, so a buggy can be convenient. <\/p>\n What we personally really enjoy is the relaxed atmosphere of the course. After golfing, you can enjoy a delicious meal or a drink on the restaurant terrace, located in an old Andalusian cortijo. <\/p>\n Alhaur\u00edn Golf<\/a> is also beautifully located in the inland area of M\u00e1laga, close to Alhaur\u00edn el Grande. The course winds through the hilly landscape of the Sierra de Mijas. <\/p>\n Because of the elevation changes, you sometimes have to walk quite uphill, but the views make it all worthwhile. Every hole feels different here. Thanks to the Mediterranean vegetation, wide fairways, and strategically placed bunkers, this course is varied and challenging. <\/p>\n Here, you will use almost every club in your bag.
