Within half an hour’s drive from our holiday homes, you will already find two beautifully landscaped golf courses. We enjoy playing on these courses.<\/p>\n
This golf course<\/a> is located between the villages of Alhaurin el Grande and Alhaurin de la Torre. The course is beautifully situated at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas with views of M\u00e1laga and the Mediterranean Sea here and there. The course has a rural feel, with beautiful gnarled olive trees lining the fairways.<\/p>\n If you want, you can play golf all day here, as the course has 27 holes! The last 9 holes are a bit more uphill, so if you don’t have a buggy, there is a bit of a climb here from time to time.<\/p>\n Near the golf course, in an old Andalusian cortijo, is a restaurant with a lovely terrace. You can sit there in the sun or the shade under the big old tree.<\/p>\n Another beautiful golf course not far from Finca Las Nuevas is Alhaurin Golf<\/a>. This golf course is located inland as well, near the village of Alhaurin el Grande.<\/p>\n The course is also located at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas, which means you have to walk up quite steeply at times, but the views are beautiful. And with the wide variety of typical Mediterranean vegetation, you walk in beautiful surroundings and each hole is different. You will use every club.<\/p>\n The course has eighteen holes. Golf courses on the coast are often surrounded by urbanisations with holiday homes.
