Marbella is a perfect place for that. You can drive to Marbella via a beautiful road through the mountains. On the way, you can stop in Oj\u00e9n, a whitewashed picturesque mountain village. <\/p>\n
In Marbella, the old centre (Casco Antiguo) is worth a visit. It is fun to walk through the narrow streets with bright flower pots on the walls. <\/p>\n
If you head west, you can take the promenade, which later turns into a paved sandy path, along the sea to find a spot at the beach. Especially where the boulevard turns into a sandy path, you imagine yourself in a different environment. Tall palm trees and green gardens add a tropical touch to this path. <\/p>\n
Marbella is a decadent seaside resort with glitz and glamour, which becomes even more apparent in neighbouring Puerto Ban\u00fas. This luxury marina is all about seeing and being seen. Lovers of mega-expensive yachts and luxury cars do you a favour here. <\/p>\n
This unique beach with clear waters lies between Fuengirola and Marbella. The beautiful wide sandy beach borders the Dunas de Artola dune area, which also has a wooden boardwalk running through it. This path is part of a long-distance hiking trail from M\u00e1laga to Estepona. <\/p>\n
On this beach, you may encounter some more naked people, as bathing suits are not compulsory. This does not mean that you have to be naked yourself. Both are accepted. <\/p>\n

Slightly more towards Fuengirola than Playa de Cabopino is the seaside village of La Cala de Mijas. From the village, you can walk straight onto a cosy beach. It is not very big and even if you walk along the wooden decking path out of the village, you can expect narrow but beautiful beaches with very clear water.<\/p>\n
Should you want to do some combining again, there is a nice market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.<\/p>\n
This resort probably doesn’t sound appealing to some people, as it is associated with crowded beaches where you lie back to back and you can drink your pint in a pub. True, but at the beginning of Torremolinos<\/a>, the stretch closest to M\u00e1laga and the airport has a very Spanish atmosphere. So is Maro beach.<\/p>\n This beach, a few kilometres east of Nerja, is a small bay surrounded by rocky mountains. The water there is very clear, so good for snorkelling.<\/p>\n In the summer months when it can be crowded, parking can be a bit trickier. You have to walk quite a bit, so don’t forget to bring good shoes. The road to it is beautiful. From the main road, you have to take a fairly steep road down. If it is very busy, you will have to park at the top and then walk about 2 kilometres. Sometimes a shuttle bus runs. <\/p>\n Like Maro, this beach is located on a kind of bay with beautiful rocks all around you. On the left, you can walk through a small opening in the rocks or you can go through the water along the rock to a second beach. The beach is a beach for naturists, but you can also go here with swimwear. <\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.23.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n If you still want to combine: The whitewashed mountain village of Frigiliana <\/a>and the town of Nerja are fun to visit. Or for the more active a walk through the river Chillar<\/a> and you can also take a canoe trip along the coast near Maro towards a nature reserve with a beautiful waterfall.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
