Markets in Andalusia; where and when?

Markets in Andalusia are always fun to visit during your holidays. It gives a good impression of local life and often you can find delicious products from the region. In this blog, we provide an overview of where and when there are markets in Andalusia in the province of Malaga.

Markets in Andalusia

Nearly every village has a market. Some are a bit bigger than others. And sometimes it is very nice and sometimes it is not what you imagined. We don’t know all the markets, so we can’t tell you whether they are all worth visiting. But combined with a stroll around the village or having a drink on the terrace, you will still have a fun activity.

Mercado Central de Atarazanas

This colourful market is located in the centre of Málaga and is divided into a separate meat/fish section and a section with vegetables, fruit, nuts, herbs and olives.
