Our holiday homes for small-scale stays in Andalusia
Small-scale holiday accommodation near Málaga!
The Finca is a hundred-year-old farmhouse with a typical Andalusian look; thick walls and small windows. In the main house, several accommodations have been created while preserving the original features and authentic Spanish character. Each house has its own terrace or balcony. In the garden, there’s an additional accommodation – a romantic little cottage.
The large communal terrace with barbecue gives beautiful views of the Sierra de las Nieves mountains. Walking down through the garden, the swimming pool with sunbeds and hot tub beckons. The view, with the setting sun having coloured the sky in tig shades of orange, is breathtaking. In the evening, thousands of stars twinkle in the sky in this place where it still gets dark.
Holiday homes with pool and hot tub located near Álora in Andalusia
After a twenty-minute drive from the airport, you leave behind the friendly but bustling city of Málaga. The motorway turns into a winding road up the mountain. First, you still have beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea then the mountains take over the vistas. The road turns into a wide dirt track and at more than five hundred metres, you look out over the patchwork of the Andalusian interior with whitewashed villages that seem stuck halfway up the mountainside, olive and almond trees and, in the distance, the karst mountains of El Torcal.
When you get off at Finca Las Nuevas you can hear birds chirping, crickets chirping or just a moment of absolute silence. There is a serenity that many a person craves coming from a hectic life. The old era, just off the driveway, is a reminder of when grain was grown in this area. At this round place, the grain was dried. Today, the hills surrounding Finca Las Nuevas are covered with almond and olive trees.
