Holiday homes near Málaga with English speaking owner
Our spacious holiday homes with a shared pool are located in the restored old Finca Las Nuevas. This fine spot is located in the hills of Andalusia. In between the typical Andalusian white villages of Álora and Cártama. A forty-minute drive northwest of Málaga, the airport and the beach. Just far enough away not to hear car traffic, but whistling birds.
Here you can enjoy peace and quietness among olive and almond trees. Shops, cafes and restaurants are a 15-minute drive away. Having a car is therefore strongly recommended.
Away from home, we want to give you a home to enjoy your holidays where there is time and space for wonderful relaxation. And where the surroundings challenge you to go on an adventure. But also where you can refuel your energy.
Hasta pronto,
Robert and Pascalle

Casa Carmen is a lovely large house for up to five people and a baby. The house is at the front of the old farmhouse and has unobstructed views over the garden and the mountains. This is an ideal house if you want space and want to watch the sun go down in the evening.

Experiences of our guests
Oh yes, and our favorite host: dog Rosie. If you don't like dogs, she won't bother you, but we as dog fans had a lot of fun with her!
Las Nuevas is also a great base for a day out to the beautiful north or the commercial south.
The hospitality of Robert & Pascalle only makes your stay even more wonderful. 🇪🇸
We stayed in casa Carmen, a spacious and cozy house with 2 floors and a spacious terrace with a view over the garden and the valley.
The stretch of unpaved road to it is not too bad, especially after the first time driving. It is approximately 8 minutes 'off-road'. A rental car with a nice engine is recommended.
The finca is the perfect place to combine rest and activities. There is plenty to do in the nearby area, but keep in mind that it takes about 20 minutes to get to the first town down the mountain (Alora or Cartema). Pascalle & Robert's guestbook offers more than enough inspiration to go out.
A day 'at home' by the pool is certainly no punishment with the sunbeds in the beautifully landscaped garden!
In short, we enjoyed it! From the weather, the house, the surroundings and the conviviality. Coming home on holiday 🙂
Note from Abel: the pizza evening was also great!
Many thanks to Pascalle & Robert.
Kortom, 5 sterren!
We stayed with our daughter (6 years) at Casa Josefa and enjoyed it a lot.
Finca de las Nuevas is very pleasant and the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature and beautiful views.
The way to get to the house is not that short if you want to do trips around the coast, but it is worth it.
Pascalle and Robert are great hosts and had very helpful hints regarding excursions. We also enjoyed fresh rolls in the morning, the BBQ on the terrace and the refreshing pool.
Thanks a lot!

About us
Halfway through a month-long journey, we met in a small Indonesian hostel somewhere in the back of Malang. After that, we took many trips together. First the two of us and later with our two children. After four years of living in Asia and many trips beyond, the abroad virus got hold of us. We were at a point where we could turn our lives around and very impulsively embarked on this new adventure.
Our motto: when we are old and sitting next to each other in the easy chair later on, we want to be able to say to each other ‘We tried hard’. We don’t want to regret things we didn’t do.
