A family-friendly holiday home in Andalusia makes your getaway even more relaxing, right? At Finca Las Nuevas you won’t find a large holiday park with an entertainment team or a big playground. What we do offer: a place where children can truly explore, play and enjoy the outdoors. And where parents can finally unwind.

Our finca is located in the hills of Álora, near Málaga. An authentic spot with charming holiday houses — perfect for a family holiday in Andalusia.

Will the kids enjoy themselves?

We hear this question often. And yes — absolutely! Just in a different way than at an all-inclusive resort. No loud music or animated programs at our place. But instead: space, nature and adventure. For little explorers, there’s always something to discover: from paths winding through the garden to tiny geckos darting between the stones. Even a walk around the house feels like an expedition here.

Outdoor toys at your family-friendly holiday home in Andalusia

We know how nice it is not to bring everything yourself. That’s why you’ll find outdoor toys and games on our shared terrace. For older children, we have a giant Yahtzee set, Dominoes and Jenga. The little ones often use the domino tiles to make roads, and the wheelbarrow that holds the Jenga blocks is a favourite for rides too. For smaller children, there’s also a wooden train track and a balance bike to ride around the terrace.

In the garden, hanging from the beautiful old carob tree, you’ll find a swing — perfect for watching the sunset. On our historic era (where grain used to be dried), there’s a ping-pong table and seating so you can enjoy the amazing view from there too.

Beach day? We’ve got you covered

Within 40 minutes, you’ll be standing on the Costa del Sol beaches. To make your family holiday in Andalusia even more relaxed, we have a beach kit ready to borrow: a cool box, beach blanket, beach tennis set, buckets and spades, parasol, 2 beach chairs and even a little beach tent if you need it. No hassle — just fun!

Swimming pool with a separate kids’ pool

A swimming pool is like a magnet for kids — they can play there for hours. Our pool has a separate shallow children’s area where little ones can splash safely. We also have dive sticks for the bigger kids. Feel free to bring your own swim rings or floaties. We just ask everyone to be mindful of other guests so everyone can enjoy the pool.

With around 300 sunny days a year, bad weather is rare. But if it happens, there’s plenty to do indoors as well. Children’s books. Each holiday home has a bookshelf stocked with books for both adults and children, in English and Dutch.

You’ll also find board games in the houses, and our Kapla blocks are always a hit.

Baking cookies

Our kids always loved baking cookies! You can order a cookie-baking kit from us — dough and cutters included. All you need is your creativity.

Baby- and toddler-friendly accommodation in Andalusia

Travelling with a baby to Andalusia? You’re in the right place. We’ve welcomed many little ones — and a fun fact: parents often tell us their baby slept through the night for the first time here. Must be the magical Andalusian mountain air! If it’s your first holiday with a baby or toddler, a child-friendly holiday home is a big help.

On request, we can provide a wooden baby cot, high chair and stair gates. We also have a baby bath and a changing mat. In the kitchen, you’ll find children’s plates, cutlery and cups, plus moulds to make your own fruit popsicles.

Washing machine

Sometimes, even a suitcase full of clothes isn’t enough when travelling with kids. No worries — you can use our washing machine for a small fee, and if the sun takes a day off, there’s also a dryer available.
